Hi, my name is Evan McGraw and I have been playing video games since Super Mario came out for the original NES. Video games have played a huge role in my life. Countless summers have been spent beating Donkey Kong Country, Final Fantasy 7 and 8, Halo, every Warcraft and StarCraft game I could get my hands on. I firmly believe that my experience playing video games has carried over into my professional life and that is why I have joined Virtual Reload.
Video games have taught me to think tactically and strategically, the value of practice, patience, determination, discipline, and have fostered a competitive spirit. I have translated these values over to my swimming career which took me to the University of Mary Washington where I was a part of an incredible team that captured four straight Capital Athletic Conference championships. This drive and competitiveness have also led me to continue to play golf competitively in my later years, as well as pool, where I was captain of my own APA team for over ten years.
Once I joined the professional world, I was told on many occasions that Sales leaders look for individuals with this type of drive and history of Collegiate sports and other extracurricular competitive activities. I hope to also foster these types of values in our youth and leaders of tomorrow through Virtual Reload so they can enjoy video games as much as I did and also gain from the experience as I have.
